The project is all about revealing the structure of electric grids that is so well hidden from our daily life. Where electricity flows, there is always an electromagnetic field. So we started experimenting with a pick-up coil that can pick up those waves and transferred them into sounds by the help of an audio interface. Suddenly, we could hear the flow of electricity behind walls, in our smartphones and the microwave in our studio in real-time. The colors of the animation change depending on the frequency of the sounds.
